Finished episode 9 of Snow Queen.

Only one word could describe the awesomeness: WOW.



I love how TW takes Bo Ra to meet his mother because he promised he'd take the girl he loves to his Mom. And Bo Ra doesn't know it. And they are awesome and adorable and she doesn't realize it's his good-bye to her.

And then he quits. And he talks to his doctor female friend and I love how when she asks him what he'll do if Bo Ra likes him, he is so startled like it never even occured to him she could. Oh, poor guy. He has no self-worth when it comes to him being loveable, does he? And it's heartbreaking, him walking down the street and thinking, what will he do if that is the case. He is so young.

And OMG OMG Bo Ra finds out he quit. And she comes to the gym and he is all curt (because he's trying to push her away) but she tells him to stop. And she tells him 'I...like you.'

OMG OMG OMG. Proud imperious Bo Ra being so vulnerable, putting herself out like that. And he stops dead and goes 'you shouldn't joke about that' because he still can't believe. And she walks up (because he's still frozen) and she hugs him tightly, from behind, and OMG OMG OMG...Hyun Bin is so expressive...his face. It's like he is even afraid to breathe in case this disappears and it's everything he's wanted before he even knew what he wanted. And OMG...he looks like he is utterly immobile. And she whispers "My Kay...is you.'

OMG OMG OMG

And in the previews you see him try to push her away even though he is mad for her and loves her with every molecule in his body because he doesn't want her to find out who he really is and thus for her to get more grief. OMG OMG.

In other news, I found more pictures of Which Star Are You From?. It looks so incredibly adorable, it's inching more and more up the list of dramas to watch.























Must get my hands on this yesterday.

and snow queen omg i am loving it as well.. in some ways tw guilt issues might have started with his mom but then when his friend commited suicide he felt like he wasn't worth a damn cause all he causes is pain... that's a lot to get over but man his like throwing love away cause he doesn't believe his worth it..

and OMG!!! JJH is sooooo hot in that suit... *coherent thoughts out*

Man Jae Hee is such an expressive actor. He can really pull of those hilarious faces we got in DGCH. He kinda reminds me of Matsujun in that he really gets into his characters.

I know I won't be able to watch The Devil no matter how pretty JJH is. I really don't do well with angst!

Random but its Friday and I *still* miss HYD (and ofc your liveposting. I love how much detail you saw. I was always too busy reading the subtitles! :P). Its been two weeks for gods sake! I am now v.desperate for Bambino. Have you heard about Mao's new drama coming out in April too? Tis an updated version of King Leah. Not sure I want to see it as Kind Leah isn't exactly one of Shakespeare's cheeriest plays you know what with everyone dying and all.

About those upcoming Japanese Shakespeare adaptations, I'm more looking forward to Romeo and Juliet with Takizawa Hideaki. It's Takki after all! And the description sounds pretty interesting. And it's Takki! (Ahem, not that I'm obsessed of anything...)

The same girl who is playing Yamapi's love interest in Proposal Daisakusen is also in this as Juliet. Lucky girl, getting to be romanced by both Takki and Yamapi! The fangirls at d-addicts are, of course, going crazy about it :).

Re: SQ. I feel so horrible for him, because he feels unworthy of love but he is such a caring warm person, who is so unselfish and deserves good things. OMG. I hope hope hope he gets at least some happiness with Bo Ra.

yeah waiting for subs but my sister *bless her smart assheart* sent me to a site that gave me a great synopsis of each witch yoo hee episode, so now i know what's happening...

and SQ: is it just me or each episode gets sadder than the previous one. i started crying when he was at the boxing match and his getting pummeled cause he saw her by the door... i'm just wondering whetehr or not Bo Ra and Tae Woong will have a little happiness cause it seems like when the dad finds out, all hells gonna break loose.. also i think prior to TW and JG's friendship he was already depressed and suicidal, i mean he has to have more thoughts like that right???

I didn't get that feeling. He seemed to be a bit gawky adolescent and a bit shy, but rather normal. And he had such small, lovely dreams: a white collar job, kids, wife he loves. But then his friend died and the thing that makes TW so awesome: his purity, and goodness, and innocence is what made him unable to cope: if he was more selfish and hardened he'd be fine.

I actually don't think he is suicidal even now (as suicide is his biggest NO) but he is not believing he deserves happiness even as he wants it...

hmm maybe it's just that maybe your not on this eps yet but there's a part where tw confesses sorta to BR about the whole what he said that made JG want to kill himself, made me kinda wonder if it's just that one statement or was something else bothering JG hence his dead...

Ooooh, I am an idiot. I thought by 'suicidal' you were referring to TW. I do agree that there had to be something off with JG even before to make him want to kill himelf. Likely all the pressure from his father, which is probably why his father wanted to blame TW so badly, so as not to deal with his own role in his son's death.
