Full House: stop making me emo

dangermousieYou know how I said I wanted Full House angst. Or how I wanted Young-Jae to angst over Ji-Eun. I lied. I take it all back. I've gotten unhealthily involved with the characters and I don't want them to angst!
Because when JE finished her script and told YJ to wait for her and then was late on purpose as revenge for all the times he stood her up? I felt dreadful for him because he was such a little boy and so happy for her and he bought flowers and got candles out and baloons and set a candlelit dinner.
And when she is all late, he is upset so he knocks the bike he bought for her down. And then picks it up really carefully. And she gets home late and finds him asleep on the couch and sees all the stuff he did and she just melts.
And then she tells him she wants a divorce and that whole conversation is so painful and they both have tears in their eyes and guys who cry just kill me. And he tells her if it's because she hates to cook, she doesn't have to, and she can see Min-Heuk as much as she wants to, but she can't divorce him. And she confesses to him she likes him and he OMG. His face. I've liked the character before and found him funny and adorable and hot. But this is the precise moment I fell for him, hook and sinker. And also I now have a fixation on Rain. Big surprise.
And then he tells her that now he can't be with her any longer (silly boy and his confusion over HW and his promise to her. He is so clueless as he is so madly in love with JE. Heck, after HW's proclamation of interest he wasn't extatic but was thinking of JE and Min-Heuk instead). And they both are crying. OMG.
And there are other bits, like the fact that he freaks out when she is too obedient and keeps pushing his luck like a kid, just to see how far it'd go. Or the bit where she tells him Min-Heuk is going to take her out and he starts being indignant and then he pauses and tells her 'Come to think of it, I never bought you a decent meal. I always stood you up. If you like Min-Heuk, go ahead. Your heart wasn't included in the contract.'

OMG. Cuteness. Eleventy! The power balance in that relationship is totally shifting. Now he is cleaning the house. And he cooked her breakfast. And he is so anxious to see if she likes it. EEEEEEE! It's like having a human shaped puppy. EEEEE!!!
