Gotten from
vierran45 and
neanods
You’re stuck inside Fahrenheit 451, which book do you want to be?
Dorothy Dunnett's "Checkmate" or Erich Maria Remarque's "Three Comrades"
Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character?
Just one? Heee. My first crush was on Spartacus in Giovagnolli's novel of the same name (wrote him a love letter. I was eight), and I've been gaving crushes ever since (Lymond from Dunnett's Lymond Chronicles, Ramses from Peters books, David from the "Brothers of Gwynedd". The list is endless).
What are you currently reading?
I always read more than one thing at a time: "Brothers of Gwynedd" by Edith Pargeter (rereading), Lonely Planet's Guide to Spain.
The last book you bought is:
Undead and Unemployed by Mary Janice Davidson. Bought it yesterday.
The last book you read:
Undead and Unemployed by Mary Janice Davidson. Finished yesterday. Neanods rightly recommended it.
Five desert island books:
Lymond Chronicles (in one volume): it would be super-thick and is my fave book
Complete O. Henry
"How to get off the damn island" by ____
Wodehouse Omnibus (the thicker the better)
Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands by Jorge Amado (if there is an edition with more than one novel in one book, then that).
Who are you going to pass this stick to (3 persons) and why?
Free to all comes, folks!
In other news, am sick. Throat hurts, I am shivery thus life is a bit on the sucky side right now.
