Ah, Hyun Bin. God, I adore him. I think the only reason I even investigated A Millionaire's First Love was because I saw a giant poster of him in a video store somewhere that subseqently stopped me in my tracks. He was also in "My Name Is Kim Sam Soon" is probably one of my favorite kdrama heroes, in that while he fits the whole "he's rich, he's good looking blah blah blah, heir to blah blah blah" stereotype, his character isn't perfect by any means. And I don't mean "haunted past" issues, I mean that he's kind of quirky and weird and I love him. Sam Soon/Sam Shik OTP! Seriously, MNIKSS is a fabulous kdrama.
A Millionaire's First Love is so much crackiness--I am a little embarrassed that I like it so much because a majority of it makes no sense at all. There is that opening scene in a hotel lobby, the weird Childhood Love Connection that Was Borne from Nothing...I just like that she was afflicted with something besides cancer. Keeps things interesting, I say. :)
