The above best sums up my emo upon watching eps 29-30.

Why are they all so cute?

This is KS' "I am being teased" face.

Awww. Shoulder rubs! And he waited to have dinner until she showed up from her interview despite the fact he was starving (which is what Dong Ah was teasing him about, LOL).

Why are they such adorable dorks, why? I know why - so when the angst hits, I'll feel even worse.

He complains to JJ they were bullying him. LOLOLOL.

The cuteness. Seriously, I cannot get enough.

Dong Ah and Kang Suk have a competition on one of those toy machines and the ladies cheer their men. I just love how they are all such awesome friends now. It's not just KS putting up with JJ's friends or YS putting up with Dong Ah's friends. Nah, they are all friends. I love it when they double-date.

Did I mention the part where Jin Jin calls Kang Suk by his name for the first time. Seriously! Their faces! (My meta is so deep this time, you can tell).

More happiness. The thing that I love so much is that Gloria shows that the two OTPs aren't just in-love/star-crossed/whatever, but they are compatible - you can imagine them being happy for decades and decades together and doing random every day things. And that love makes them better - they all are happy and fully alive for the first time in ever. Before they all barely existed, without any hope, in their different ways.

I want Jin Joo and Mc ahjusshi to hook up. He's had a crush on her for ages.

The relationship between sisters, whether it was Jin Jin caring for her handicapped older sister, or JJ dealing with the new, grown-up Jin Joo, is one of my favorites in the drama.

Melting...

Jin Jin hears her sister sing again, for the first time since she was a child.

I love that this is how he looks because she is happy.

I love the way Yoon Seo is now alive to tease (she all but sparkles when she is around Dong Ah) and that he's happy enough to be secure in her love and bask in it and believe that good can come to them.

Jin Joo finds out who Kang Suk is, i.e. Creepy is his brother, and asks him to break it off with Jin Jin because she can't believe he will bring her anything but grief - his father kept a mistress, his brother promised to be different but turned out to be a cheating murdering monster. I am not happy with Jin Joo but I can see why she does it - she wants to protect her baby sister. Not that Kang Suk agrees.

OT4:

I loved this scene so much! He gets a call and teases her saying it's a woman and she laughs and he's all indignant she's not jealous and she starts correcting his tie and saying that he could have had a beautiful society woman like Yoon Seo but he picked her, and so she will trust him even if he goes to a hotel room with a woman. And then pauses, frowns, and adds "but what will you be doing in a hotel room with a strange woman?" and he grins and replies "we both found the wrong room together?" LOLOLOLOL I love them!

Creepy sends assassin after Jin Joo and Kang Suk sees. He doesn't know right away it's Jin JIn's sister but he rushes in to rescue. And that is the difference between Creepy and Kang Suk - that is why KS, however he worries about darkness within, is a good person unlike his brother. He gets gut-stabbed for his pains.

In the operating room.

KS' mother is frantic and mad and blames Jin Jin because if her son hasn't met her, he wouldn't be in the area and possibly dying. It's unfair enough to be insane but her only child is possibly dying and I understand her lashing out in any way she can.

Waiting. Jin Jin can't go inside because they have to keep the charade Yoon Seo is KS' fiancee in front of KS' father and also because Mom won't let her in.

I can't love these two any more than I do already - that's what I think and then they cling to each other for dear life (they just found out they have to leave asap because Creeper knows about them).

KS mother watches him come to and tells him maybe he should rethink himself and JJ and that maybe this is fate telling them they aren't suited and that if it wasn't for JJ, he wouldn't be stabbed. And he tells her "without Jin Jin, I wouldn't be living." OMG you guys, OMG.

Because Mom is reasonable and cool human being, she comes out of the room and tells JJ to go in - she says KS woke up for a second but is sleeping again, so if she wants to sit there, she can (she is also probably moved because JJ stayed out in the hall all night).

You guys, I basically died during this scene.

I loved this bit because she's all frantic and asking him if he knows who she is and he whispers the knife didn't hurt his eyesight or his hearing, so of course he does. LOL. And tells her she shouldn't be crying because he didn't even die so why the fuss. Oh, Kang Suk, I love you!

Jin Joo comes in too and her gist is basically "I was so wrong, you clearly love my sister a lot, marry with my blessings." YAY! I love that Gloria characters are rational and use their brains!

Jin Joo is so awesome, in fact, that she seeks out Creepy and offers him a deal. She won't ever report him for any crimes and will live as quietly as he likes, if he lets his brother and her sister get married. She lays it all out - Jin Jin took care of her for 20 years so she will do anything to see Jin Jin Happy. AWWWW. You are awesome. Creepy, you should so be hiring a wedding planner for the two if you have any brains, because otherwise you are so going to jail, freak!

Cuteness! He tells her at least something good came out of his being stabbed - look how she's fussing over him. LOL. Seriously, I love love love Kang Suk's sense of humor. Who'd have ever thought Mr. Repressed Icicle of the start had any?

KS is out of the hospital, visits Creepy and basically says the following: (a) I know it was your guy who stabbed me (b) I am not sure why you want to kill Jin Joo - I know you were lovers but there must be something more (c) mess with anyone I care about again, and I will end you. Woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!!

This is here because he's gorgeous.

Jin Jin and Jin Joo singing together for the first time. I cried. I totally did.

Did I mention how I love him?

The male leads in this one satisfy every shallow craving I have btw.

DA and YS inform JJ and KS they are leaving tomorrow.

Kang Suk finds out Daddy Dearest plans to make him the heir. Fancy, he doesn't want a murderer (long story, he found out) as his heir! You can see KS be almost terrified because what if this makes him slide back into ambition-driven bleakness. I don't think it would though - the only reason he was like that before was because he had nothing else outside it. Now he has love and friendship and normalcy. Even if he gets ambitious, there is nothing wrong with that in and of itself, he'll still remain human.

He does express his fears, not explicitly, to Jin Jin, about the potential for a monster inside (IMO, the wrong brother is worried about that one! The very fact he's worried about that means he is not) and begs her to stick to him and keep reassuring him she loves him (presumably so he'd always have a reminder of her love as a reminder to stay human).

Dong Ah walks Yoon Seo home for the last time. They are leaving tomorrow.

He tells her he is worried this is going to mean a hard life for her, but she tells him she will be happy as long as they can stay together until they die. Oh God, woobies!

Last moment of bliss before the crash.

And then they are blinded by the glare of police lights, and the cops come out, arresting, handcuffing, and hauling off Dong Ah for assaulting Creeper (eps earlier when Creeper was manhandling YS, DA intervened) as Creeper (who knew they were leaving tomorrow and thus acted) looks on smugly and Yoon Seo's horrible father also steps out of the car.

Creeper gloatingly informs Dong Ah that not only is he finished but (because Creeper may realize that Dong Ah cares more about the smallest hurt to Yoon Seo than a horrible fate for himself or, more likely (as Creeper is incapable of that kind of love) because he thinks someone like DA won't be bothered by jail) Yoon Seo's life will now be hell because someone in her position was going to run away with someone like him and now her family will make her suffer and suffer. Awww, Creeper, she didn't want your mudering embraces so you decided to wreck her life.

Yoon Seo is begging her father for Dong Ah and Monster Daddy is all "oh, that's how it is? You love him? Then I am just going to have him killed. What, you don't think I can do it?" UGH BURN IN A FIRE, AWFUL FAMILY!!!!!!!!

And then the cops bring in Dong Ah, because he's insisted on coming and telling Monster Daddy that he's been stalking Yoon Seo for some time and the cops plan to add it to his charges and also want Monster Daddy to know. Oh, Dong Ah, you are freaking amazing.

Oh. I am not crying, I am not!

I can't help but think that in a way Dong Ah was right at the start when he would try to push her away to protect her - because now his life is over and her life is hell. But he was, ultimately, wrong, at least as it concerns Yoon Seo. Without him in her life, she would have killed herself by now.

His wedding ring! Oh.

The final scene. He tells JJ he doesn't care what will happen to him but then begs her, crying, to save Yoon Seo. "Yoon Seo. Save her. The only person who can save her is Lee Kang Suk. Please save my Yoon Seo." Oh, my heart. Oh oh oh.
