OMG, I really do love their interaction post the reveal. Because Sun Joon is his quiet self (but when isn't he?) but you could totally see him shine inside and out at finding the truth. Mmmmm.

Oddly, I don't mind the deviation from the novel in that there is no naked sexing but a little quiet joy and a lot of awkwardness and eye-fucking. I haven't read the novel except for Yogurtu's exerpts so I can't say whether sexing would have been in or out of character for book YH and SJ but even from my limited knowledge, drama YH and SJ seem rather different and, more importantly, impulse sexing would be out of character for them - I can't see drama!YH being forward enough to basically initiate it and I think she would have to do a LOT of pushing (way more than in the book) before drama!SJ would agree to go along with 'dishonoring' her.

Plus, if they don't start sexing like bunnies the moment the secret of her gender comes out, this solves one of my big problems - the same one I have with any period novel where characters engage in premarital sex without any thought for pregnancy. Because, as far as I know, 18th-century Korea did not have either condoms or The Pill. And yet Sun Joon and Yoon Hee, two brilliant individuals who know the theoretical underpinning of birds and bees, blissfully continue to have sex without even thinking once that if they keep doing it Scholar Kim Yoon Shik is going to start get suddenly fat around the middle sooner rather than later.

Still, I want SOME smoochies before the drama is over. Also, it looks like Hong Byuk Seo-related speculation is on track. Wheeeee!
