I am soooo tempted to buy the novelization of SWIII (yeah, I have no shame). But I am torn. I am OK with being spoiled, but there is spoiled and spoiled, and this would be a whole other level of spoiled. Help meeeeeee!

Also, am so glad SWIII is PG-13. I understand that it might bug some people who grew up on the safe world of the OT, but Lord of the Rings and the Matrix were my generation's movies, so I love the darkness inherent in Anakin's fall from grace (much as it breaks my heart) and am glad it will be done graphically enough. You *need* PG-13 to do it justice.

I have a perfect geek marriage. Sample of marital conversation yesterday:
Me: I want to rent a movie. Feel like getting Alexander for the FF button and to mock?
Husband: I think it would be fun to rent Clone Wars sometimes.
Me: We have it. I bought it.
Husband: No, I meant the cartoons.
Me: I know. I bought it.
Husband: when is it going to get here?
Me: It's in the house. Wanna watch?
Husband: Yay.
Me: I love the fact that you don't mind I am geeky.
Husband: Are you kidding? I love it. A lot of guys's girls wouldn't like that stuff at all because it's scifi or uncool.
Us: watch Clone Wars and have geeky discussions re: Jedi.
*happy sigh*

Also, decided to check out Clive Cussler's book "Sahara." As far as thrillers go, he could be a worse writer, but boy is he into self-insertion. Dirk Pitt is his "sexy" (i.e. Bondian ergo boring) alter-ego. It's written well enough that I'll not call it a Gary Stu, but it's pretty close. Especially if you read Cussler's biography on the back.
