Hanadan with subs thoughts

dangermousieI just skimmed the subbed version of Hana Yori Dango 2's second ep so this is pretty brief. Or not, knowing me.
1. The language mangling is back! YAY!!!!!!!!
2. Dammit all the timing in this! Domyouji appears on the verge of telling his reasons to Makino at least twice (three times if you think that Shigeru showing up at that park was a coincidence, which I am not sure about) because the sheer emotional onslaught of being with her for more than a millisecond breaks down his walls, but they get interrupted every time: the first time in the hallway after Makino leaves his bday party. First the F3 show up. Then Makino tells him there is nothing to say but he'd have continued but then Kaede shows up and he grabs the wrong girl. And the second time in the cafeteria, interrupted by Shigeru.
3. What a HELL of a time for Domyouji to develop a social conscience! Because after hearing about the Group trouble and 'I am responsible for all those people' etc, I bet he feels he has to give up Makino because he feels responsibility for workers so can't marry Makino (I bet that guy in his nightmare was someone he knew who got laid off and killed himself). Except that doesn't make sense. He was pushing her away even in NYC, before Shigeru even popped on the stage and he doesn't plan to marry Shigeru, so why whom he dates be an issue in his being 'responsible' and doing things in the best interest of the corp? This is making my head hurt. And why couldn't he have told her the reason if that was the case? I hope that's not all there is to it, because I love my lovers defiant of society not selfless for others (generally I am more into Hikaru/Michi and not Hiroto/Nao type).
Ugh, stupid boy, go run to Makino and make up. She is about a step away from walking away forever. The phone/meeting was the last ditch attempt, and OMG, that place will now not be associated with their first date for her but seeing him kiss another girl. Ugh.
4. After seeing Makino cry on the phone, saying that she thought she'd never hear his voice again, ever, and him still not coming over, running? OK. That's official. I am pissed off. I hope she does give up on the stupid boy temporarily and does date Rui (who does seem interested if Domyouji gave up on Makino. And I did notice a coded 'hands off' from Domyouji when he points out that Rui is a large corp heir too). And I want Domyouji to chase after her again. Really chase, not just emo repressed staring. Come on. This is Hanadan, not Kurosagi!
5. How much do I love Rui? When Makino gets called to the piano, an ultimate nightmare if you think about it (more so than in the manga/anime/MG, because there she hasn't yet admitted her feelings for Domyouji, he isn't engaged, and in fact just introduced her to his Mom as the most important woman in his life) and he tells her if they want you, why not mess with them? Rui is the most awesome, supportive, perfect guy. And yet, I still don't ship R/T. Genuinely don't ship not just because I know that D/T is THE couple of HYD.
6. Oh, Domyouji, do you even have a long term plan? Why don't you share with F3? Face it, you are not a strategic thinker, are you? Also, WTF is with his telling Kaede he doesn't have feelings for Makino? Why would he have to lie about it to her, if his reason to be apart from her is his need to maintain social position? Huh? I want to know what is going on with you!

OK, this is probably a sign of my having issues or what not, but I think that Domyouji has never looked hotter than when he is kissing (or being kissed by) Shigeru. Seriously. WHOA.
