Ooh-la-la: Marigold
Mar. 9th, 2006 03:56 pmOh frabjous joy! I have just found out that Marigold, a Bollywood/Hollywood cross-over musical, is coming to the theaters some time in April.
Even better, I found stills on line.
The plot involves a third-rate American actress (Ali Larter) who ends up stranded in India and is desperate for some work. Well, to have a decent role in a Bollywood production, you must know how to dance (of course) and Ali's skills are non-existent. Which is where a Bollywood choreographer (Salman Khan) enters...
I can't wait.

Re: Salman. I like him when he plays disturbed and intense (e.g. Tere Naam, which was IMO the best thing he's ever done).
