I have caught up with the latest INR2012 eps (how I am managing to keep up with 5 airing dramas, I'll never know) and as always, quite a delight.

The thing is, the more this goes on, the more I don't see their viability as a couple despite their chemistry and feelings - she is a little clingy and temperamental but it's not really her fault I see this never working out.

He is where the problem is - it's very clear he loves her, but he is maddeningly non-verbal and non-communicative about either his feelings (bad enough) or his expectations (fatal to a relationship). Sure, he doesn't like her pushing - then maybe articulate what it is he would like, and how he sees whatever relationship they have? (Not to mention she won't be as clingy if she knew where she stood). Reading between the lines gets exhausting, especially since she's not privy to the things we see as the audience (such as him buying up all of her pictures). I mean, she tells and asks him point-blank and still gets no response. Who wants to bare your heart to no reaction? The way he is right now, I don't think he can have a functional relationship with any woman, really. I can't say I am enthused about heroine with secondary guy either because there is little chemistry and he's so bland.

This was the coolest break-up ever though:

Serves you right. If I were her, I'd do a sex tape with Guy N2 and mail it to him.

I love this drama so much. This couple reminds me of an old relationship I had... and some scenes are actually uncomfortable for me to watch, because they ring so true.

Their story has been pretty good so far. Neither of them are bad people... they're just polar opposites unwilling to compromise. And in these cases the extremely introvert one is ultimately the culprit. In these episodes we've come to understand these characters and care for them, so even if/when they get involved with other people, we'll understand why.

And I also loved that firework break-up scene!

It feels like they understood everything that went wrong in the previous I Need Romance and corrected it. I approve!

Hi dangermousie! I don't think I've posted before but I do come here often because I enjoy reading you spazz about dramas ;) I love this series and it's only one I'm watching right now. Recaps spoil me because I end up not watching the series anymore so it's good that I can't find anyone recapping this haha! I like how the heroine is honest and acts tough but vulnerable as well. Can't wait for the next episode!

So I've seen quite a bit of love for this drama in various places--do you need to have seen the first season (or whatever) to understand it?

The two seasons are unrelated except fr theme so you don't need to have seen the first one.

Okay, for some reason I was under the impression that it was a continuation of a story. I'll have to check it out then!

Yeah, they both feel very real and I love that the conflict is organic, not some crazy drama insanity about fakecest or what not (not that I don't love those, but it would very out of place here).

Yup, the heroine is so relatable!
