That is my favorite ending in any drama from any country over 7+ years of obsessive and copious drama watching. I couldn't imagine anything more perfect - it was passionate, heartfelt, poetic, gorgeously shot and just so emotionally true I have no words. I've rewatched it so many times already.
A lot of their reunions were believably (and still sweetly and romantically) low-key because of who they are, but that last one just ratcheted the tension 1000x while still not being makjang.
