I have posters I don't like and I solve the problem by not reading them. Clearly too complicated a concept to master. Also, I have no idea if tumblr has an equivalent of flocking your posts, but if it does, it might be smart to do so next time, antifangirl, huh?

Also, it is nice to know that someone there thinks of me a lot even if it is to say things like this is the person who thinks myung-wol the spy is the best rom-com in the last five years or some shit

I actually follow her on my tumblr but I have so much football on my dash that I rarely read her posts. Funnily enough she has a history of calling out on fandom when she thinks they're being inappropriate. Which I could understand if it was an alarmingly ignorant comment made.
But for her to label you a rape apologist is ridiculous.
I haven't watched that scene but from what I read it didn't sound the least bit rape-y. Messed up? Yes of course. But rape? No. It's one of those things that the second a relationship goes south people are quick to cry it out. It's "fashionable" as my behavioral science prof put it.
And yea, no one is ever going to agree 100% about everything you watch because we all are vastly different people with different interests but it's about respecting each others drama choices and moving on. Not deriding someone's personal taste when clearly it's someone's personal taste!

Seriously though, I'm really sorry to hear that people can't agree to civilly disagree. I definitely have different views and opinions from you but we share enough similarities so I can read your blogs.

But I dunno, I think it says more of your anti-fan that they devote more time to trying to tear you down than trying to produce their own original content, commentary and opinions. Maybe it's because I'm contrary but I don't like being reactionary because it means it decides my behavior/opinions dependent on what someone else says or does which doesn't seem to be a good way to live.

I honestly, HONESTLY, cannot understand why people take fandom SO SERIOUSLY. Especially the drama fandom, which IMO is the chillest fandom around. I'm not going to comment on her directly, since I honestly prefer not to make judgments and negative comments about others, but really? REALLY?

And yes, she's going about this the wrong way but I dunno, she's friends with my friend astroprojection who agrees with her, and I’ve never disagreed with astro's values/beliefs and I kind of disagree on your definition of rape (and the legal one too, because it’s not like the kyriarchy doesn’t affect legislation), so... *shrugs*

We all have different tastes and sometimes when DB just doesn't share the same opinions i do, i simPly move on. Next blog please. I mean no one is forcing their opinions on others here, nor is forced to read opinionated blogs. Some people are really troubled. Sad. I am speechless regarding the other complaints. She might as well have said "we disagree on almost everything and therefore are sworn enemies" - my favorite post I saw on her tumblr was the outcry over a mutual affection for Protect The Boss. Too funny. The world has ended, I suppose.

Honestly, I love when you like a drama as much as I do. But I also love when you have a different opinion. It's diversity - what's the point of reading a blog if all it does is repeat back every thought I ever had? You have different tastes than I do a lot of the time, but it enriches my perspective. It's a good thing, not a bad one.

I think her problem with me is that I am not a radical feminist. That is fair enough - I am not. But I fail to see why she's so shocked - I've never claimed to be one. Nor is majority of the fandom - as far as I can tell, a large chunk of both drama-fans and readers of my LJ aren't even from North America so concerns of radical American feminism are irrelevant to them.
