I am on ep 13 of Thank You and I am bawling.

I mean...when he is going door to door, begging villagers to donate blood to her?

*choke*

Seriously. I am feeling ill from the crying.

It's a good thing I know this has a happy ending because with this writer's previous track record (A love to kill, MISA, Sang-Do), I'd be otherwise sure she'd die and he'd die emotionally after losing the woman he loves twice.

Hell.

Stop doing this to me drama. I know it ends happily but still...*bawl*

Why am I supposed to care about Pitt and Jolie having twins?

Are they my family members? Friends? Maybe Jolie is my alter ego?

No.

Why is it on the news everywhere?

Are they expecting the second coming of Jesus or, alternatively, Rosemary's Baby?

So why the hell is every freaking news source full of 'oh, the hospital is covered in gilt, oh, let us give you minute-by-minute of Angelina being wheeled into delivery room...'

Why?

UGH.

This basically sums up my thoughts on episode 14 of Thank You. I am afraid the sheer sweetness of that scene had fried my brain.

Also, apparently, in ep 13 ( A little Shi Ho/Eun Chae spoiler ) Seeing that Bong Soon bores me to death (I don't find the actress cute at all), I think Shi Ho and Iljimae should get into a very hot and somewhat wrong OT3 with Eun Chae. The amount of hot would blow my mind.

What are you waiting for?

Iljimae doesn't get me as emotionally wrought or intellectually involved as that other 'sexy rebel' drama of this year, Hong Gil Dong* but it's a very enjoyable drama nontheless. So if you haven't checked it out before, do give it a chance.

* In part it is because though I adore Lee Jun Ki, Kang Ji Hwan is my second-favorite kdrama actor ever, behind only Bae Yong Joon.

(I really should do a comparison of the two dramas once Iljimae is complete).

So, finally, I could no longer contain myself.

This year, two dramas about noble (character-wise), Robin-Hood-type rebels in Medieval Korea came out, one (loosely) based on the first Korean-language novel, and one (loosely) based on a very famous early comic. They did (and are doing) well and are full of handsome men, pretty women, politics, fighting, and some rather odd hats.

They are Hong Gil Dong, written by the Hong Sisters (My Girl, Delightful Girl Chun-Hyang etc) and starring Kang Ji Hwan and Sung Yuri and Iljimae, starring Lee Jun Ki, Park Shi Ho, and Han Hyo Joo. So I thought it would be fun to compare.
