With a book, that is (though yes, still with my husband too).

It's been ages since I got so hooked by a book the way I've been by Where the Truth Lies.

I stayed up almost till 4am reading it, and only went to bed because I realized my day would be gone if I didn't. And then I dreamt about it. Now the book is bristling like a porcupine with tabs on all the pages which have quotes I love.

Also, wonder of wonders, this book has well-written sex scenes. No "quivering organ of my feminity" or "velvety shaft."

And it's funny. And twisty. And smart. And I love the characters (well, I wouldn't want to meet any of them, even if I was in possession of a 10-foot pole, but that's separate). Now I think that the movie, while interesting in its own right, really did the book a huge disservice.

No love like book love.

Heh. Seriously, I used to read romances for sex scenes when I was *much* younger and heeeee. So bad in quality. Not to mention I've never thought it's a sign of how much he loves you if he can't control himself and "takes you too quickly" like the heroes of some many horrid paperbacks. Instead it means he is an inconsiderate git and you should ditch.
