Yes, I realize that literally nobody on my extensive flist either cares about or has seen Chinese Paladin 3, but that is what I am currently watching so you will have to bear with it for a bit.

The following three questions occurred to me as Liu Shi Shi was doing a quick recap of her and Hu Ge's characters' past from a 1000 years ago.

1. Is there anything hotter than Hu Ge in armor? (Answer - such an object has not yet been found).
2. Is every past incarnation of Hu Ge's character cooler than his present one? (Answer - so far, yes. Unbeatable celestial general and hot warrior prince of a doomed kingdom both trump happy-go-lucky and greedy scaredy cat).
3. Are Hu Ge and Liu Shi Shi really supposed to be siblings? Only siblings? Because I am an only child so maybe I am unclear on how these things work, but I am getting a major 'cesty vibe from them. Major.

I watched quite a bit of CP3 before the ridic. got to me. Can't remember much of the series, but iirc the incest was intentional.

He's hottest when he's miserable and angsting, he's cute when he's smiling but his face is created to angst and be miserable and thus makes us lose panties.

It's not intentional incesty, this drama as seeped in Taoist theology as it is under the ridic., sibling piety is highly revered and a key element to immortality which Taoism (and CP) is obsessed with. I totally can see the vibes though if I dun consider it. There's a fandom stemming fr CP3 shipping HG/LSS in RL, as huge as the HG/Yuan Hong or the YH/LSS.;)

Thanks for the explanation about the sibling stuff. But still, it's one thing to love/respect your sibling. It's another to be touchy-feely and overly posessive :)

Gutter-mind me totally see every and any scenes they r in incesty, but considering how common it's in more soapy TV dramas (esp the older TVB stuff) for sib love to be portrayed as obsessive craziness ~ girl2 evil kdrama b*tches, this is quite tame.

That's another dimension to find the funny in CP3 watch, we do need it 2 persevere.
I mean some dearies r ranting how stupid/illogical it was 4 SJ 2 remove so and so thus exposing sthsth of YHee for CPR that he didnt perform , I'm totally watching SJ as a teenage case of hormones, it cant make more sense! lol

Bwahahahahaha. To be honest, if they weren't siblings (and technically isn't she not a sibling with this incarnation, just the past one), I'd much rather ship them then ship Hu Ge with the heroine - they don't interest me much.

Tbh, I'd rather ship him with LSS in this drama than Yang Mi. I don't find him and Yang Mi potentially exciting. Actually, I don't even think they are siblings - she was siblings with his earlier incarnation, not this one (if you are considered siblings if you were siblings in one incarnation and thus in every incarnation will be considered siblings - that would be insane). I am also puzzled as to why every incarnation looks the same so...;p
