I have given up pretending I care deeply about anything in Giant except for Min Woo/Miju,
Oh, this was everything I ever dreamed of. So perfect! He's found out she is going to perform at some station.

Gang Mo, I agree that you have every reason possible to hate Min Woo to the depths of your being, but if you use your brilliant brain, you will realize that whatever the bad blood between you, the man loves your baby sister more than his own life. And he hasn't stopped loving her after 5+ years of not even knowing whether she is alive (?I've lost track of all the timejumps). You may just have to grit your teeth and put up with a guy you hate as a brother-in-law.

And then she appears on stage and Min Woo finally sees her again, after all that time.

I love that he doesn't even think of his surroundings and the guards have to restrain him or else he is going to crash the live broadcast.

And then, she sees him. Finally! I love that she freezes and cannot go on for a minute, everything fading into white noise.

But then, because she is Awesome Miju, she manages to come back twice as good and the audience goes nuts.

And that's where I stopped. I am sure once they meet backstage and start talking it's going to devolve back to angsty tragedy of "I must push you away because you are my family's enemy/I can't live without you, I will do anything" ping-pong, so I am just going to revel in this for a bit.

Date: 2010-10-18 05:21 pm (UTC)Their meeting looks epic, and the face to face is gonna be good as well. I think the writers are realizing that they're the couple people care about. I don't know why I feel that way, but its just a feeling I get from the way the characters have been written.

Date: 2010-10-18 09:34 pm (UTC)I caught with the rest of the OTP stuff in this ep and oh, they made my heart hurt (also, I hope that by next ep, Miju learns of MW's nastiness to GM - I just think everything should be in the open so they can reconcile properly).
The scene in her dressing room - OUCH. I have no idea what she was saying but it wasn't good. She is exactly like GM in dealing with OTP issues - push away and lie. Why? Why doesn't she just tell him "ILY, but your father killed mine and is generally Satan, so we can't be." It's not like whatever she is telling him as a lie to having him pushed away is making him feel any less devastated than he would be by the truth.

Date: 2010-10-18 09:40 pm (UTC)The scene in the dressing room killed me. I know she is trying to protect him, her brothers, and her son, but does she have to break his heart? He's been looking for you (and loving you) for five years! (It has been five years) The truth needs to be out, and with only fourteen episodes or so left. . .I'm wondering if they'll ever get to be happy again. :(
