I remember how I used to boggle at people finding Hu Ge good-looking. Ahhhh, the irony the irony, it burns.

Hu ge with fringe is what made me go crazy finding a drama (http://ginger001.livejournal.com/151799.html#cutid1) it was Chinese Paladin 3 ;) but those pics, especially the first one were pretty cool...

The LOCH haircut in first half really was horrifying. They had to have thought of it all day - how to come up with the ugliest possible hair.

With fringe, he makes me think of Asian Legolas :)

I know you don't like viikii but the vids for The Myth are HQ on it and I cannot recommend the drama strongly enough - first ep is meh (and the modern storyline is not that fascinating throughout, I just skip it) but overall, it's amazing.

I wait for your subs. :D Viikii annoys me to no end, especially now - with our new TV I can just connect USB to the TV and watch .avi on A BIG SCREEN, which is kind of great and transformed my viewing experience completely (remote control helps as well :D) .

It will take me a while - I'll have to retime them all because the viikii subs are times for no opening credits. Maybe by that point they will have subbed English dvds :) (I actually am hoping for some - they just released one of the unsubbed DVDs days ago so they are clearly tinkering with it).

Re: TV. For some weird reason, if I connect my laptop to tv, I can do browsing or viikii but cannot watch anything on any vid players. Odd.

(I prefer laptop anyway - I like to watch in bed).

I think this is a different option with this new TV that we have - you can connect a laptop to it to, but there is also another option, I don't think all TVs have it, but yours might have too? You can just stick USB in the USB slot and the TV shows photos/movies , through it's own interface. I also thought I like the laptop more until I saw period dramas on the big screen. The quality of the files is amazing (and they aren't even HD)

totally agree. tried watching Chuno on big screen and could not believe my eyes. use the HD version and you will be amazed even more. although i prefer laptops too (in my bed, more intimate, heheh), i bought a media player to let me play my dramas on tv straight from HDD. but now with this new tvs, i don't even need my media player anymore. just plug in your usb drive and start watching.
