Seeking Serenity spoilers

By that I mean general, non-specific answers to some very specific questions, not "54 minutes into the flick, Book and Wash debate the merits of socks" type spoilers.

OK, questions:

1. Does Mal live at the end? And does he have a decent amount of screentime? Please say yes. I am infinitely shallow. I can't take River for waaay too long.

2. Simon. Please tell me he doesn't die. I have belatedly come to love him. I blame rawles

3. Is there some kind of Mal/Inara ship action that is not so deeply subtexty that it requires a shovel to dig it up? No hot sex necessary please yes, but some kind of hint at least.

4. Any Simon/Kaylee ship action? Not as concerned as with M/I, but I do like them so want to know.

No details, just a simple non-detailed answer will do (e.g. Good answer: "Yes, there is M/I that will make you squee." Too spoilery: "Mal and Inara get tied up and have an orgy after they gnaw through their bonds. Margerine is involved")

I understand. I was being really good and avoiding Serenity Spoilers. I even turned down a chance to see a preview, but then once the trailer aired, I just succumbed.

All I will say is that I liked what I read.
