Bollyness...

Saw Laga Chunari Mein Dag which was OK but nothing memorable: I loved the scenes with Konkona Sen Sharma and Kunal Kapoor (I wanted to watch a movie about their characters instead), and any time Abhishek was on, but these were a small portion and the rest dragged, rather.

BUT

BUT

BUT

We struck gold on trailers. In addition to an animated flick (!!!), there was a trailer for Aaaja Nachle, with Madhuri (!!!!), Om Shanti Om, Saawariya, and...*starts hyperventilating* Jodhaa-Akbar.

MMMMMM.

Crystal clear quality and on big screen.

*is dead*

Looks like a million bucks.

And Hrithik and Aishwarya sword-fight with each other. And there is intense staring and almost kissing. And her drawing this gauze curtain between them. And battles and armor and palace intrigue and just awesomeness.

Also, seriously, I have no idea how, but Hrithik manages to be hot even with the mustache. My hormones went into overdrive.

I want it NOW!

The true test of hotness is to make a moustache or a beard work.

Exactly.

Rani was great in it, and it wasn't a bad movie, just not a great one.

You crack me up! 8)
How DO they make us love the moustache??

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2007-10-15 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
LOL.

No idea, must be magic.

I'm really trying to have even half the enthusiasm you have for this movie. But I can't muster up more than an 'Ehh'. Maybe I need to see the trailor in good quality to be a bit more interested.

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2007-10-15 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
Interest in movies is so subjective, anyway. There've been plenty of movies others are interested in that I am not at all.

Btw, OSO trailer looked AWESOME on big screen.

[identity profile] aliterati.livejournal.com 2007-10-15 06:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I must admit that the trailer just made me go "meh." Which isn't to say that I don't think it'll be a good movie; I just thought it was a bad trailer. (Too boring, episodic--couldn't decide if it wanted to focus on the love story or on the battle scenes, and ultimately didn't end up saying anything about the movie.)

But I'll hold off judgments until it comes out. ;p

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2007-10-16 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
It's the story of 'look, look at the $$$ we spent' The trailer does look much better on big screen though.

[identity profile] rajni.livejournal.com 2007-10-16 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
ahh, that is so awesome you got to see the trailer on the big screen! I've only been able to watch the cam versions up on youtube, but I was still freaking out over those. lol. Hrithik manages to be hot even with the mustache. I KNOW, seriously. that's how you know this man is just beyond comparison. hahaha. I cannot waiiiiiit for the movie to come out! I hope a decent copy of the trailer hits the web.

btw, was lcmd really that dull? I've been hearing that everywhere but I'd been looking forward to it...

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2007-10-16 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
LCMD wasn't horrible but not very good.

And OMG Hrithik!
