Umm, this is a bit embarrassing...

But I was bored and restarted The Moon That Embraces The Sun (started with ep 6) and am shockingly enjoying it. I think the fact that I now know its limitations (romantic fairy tale, no more no less) helps immensely, as does the fact that I am now removed from the mania and the psycho ratings.

I am not even loathing Kim Su Hyun (!!!!!) maybe my phobia of him is finally conquered (i can never drool over him as he still looks much younger than his actual age and I am not into the baby face thing, but I am enjoying watching him on screen).

A goo drama it is not, but it is actually entertaining me.

Clearly day of miracles. We will see how long it lasts.

ETA: alas, I spoke too soon! How does every secondary character in this manage the feat of being both boring and annoying at once, I have no idea. They are made for the skip button. I dig the romance though. It's pretty much a romance novel in drama form minus the heaving bosoms.

OK, now I am curious - who else sets off your gaydar? I mean, I know for sure someone like Hyun Bin or Lee Byung Hun or Lee Min Ho or Ji Hyun Woo aren't (i.e. people who have public relationships) but for most of them, I have no idea.

Kang Dong-Won ... as much as it saddens me because OH GOSH, this guy ... if he were a couple of years older I would be in Korea in a heart beat if he played on our team which I'm about 95% sure he doesn't.
And from the Taiwanese actors, definitely Joe Cheng - despite the long make out session with Ariel Lin in They Kiss Again.

I can't put my finger on it ... it is just that ... when I watch them in interviews, or in some other format where they are themselves, they set my gaydar off. Good thing not during their dramas or movies LOL

Yup, totally agreed on Joe Cheng (not too familiar with KDW).
