Aren't they breathtakingly lovely?

I don't think LR will have great ratings - the times of mood-driven melodramas has sailed (see the rating failure of my two favorites Snow Queen and Spring Waltz), but I am pretty sure it's going to be a Mousie success - I adore melodramas, I have loved every previous drama by this director (known for the Four Seasons dramas), somehow I became a Jang Geun Seok fangirl, and I actually love Yoona's look in stills.

I cannot wait!

I'll give this one a chance. But, I'm still worried about Yoona's acting abilities, or lack thereof. She's playing against several good actors and I'd hate for her to bring them down acting wise. But, I really hope the men help Yoona's acting improve.

I don't think she's much of an actress but I usually don't mind that too much. I hated her look in Cinderella Man but I am digging it here, so I am willing to give her a chance.

That looks like 80s hair or something, which makes sense if these are from flashback scenes, hahah.

However, not even Jang Geun Suk (weird hair or otherwise) could make me watch this - I have no faith in Yoona's acting whatsoever. :/ Oh well!

Btw, yesterday I watched the kmovie "You're My Pet". The subs were AWFUL! I should have waited longer for better subs. It was harder to understand the subs than to understand the Korean dialogue. Anyways... JGS is a total GIRL in this movie. Seriously, it's creepy. The movie felt somewhat empty to me and the romance felt too unbelievable.

Right now I'm about to start another drama. I heard great things about it. It's "Ring Ring Bell" aka "Real Love Press the Bell Twice". A story about second chances in love. Starring Peter Ho!

I am not sure if it will have high ratings in Korea since
1) this plot does not seem to be the kind that Koreans like in recent years.
2) JKS does not have any hit dramas in Korea ( I mean when he is the lead )
3) Yoona is not a very good actress ( i like her but i don't think she can act )
4) PD Yoon and the writer works are not so popular after Winter Sonata.

However, I love JKS. I love PD yoon Winter Sonata and Autumn in my Heart. The stills are really nice. I will definitely watch it.

I am exited for this mainly because it's the Four Season director, but the haircut JGS is having is really unfortunate. Now maybe it's just me and my tastes but it looks horrible on him. I can't take him seriously. What happened to his wonderful long wavy hair that I used to love?

I am pretty sure this is his hair for the parts set in the 1970s - it looks pretty accurate for the period, too. I am sure he'll have a 'proper' haircut in modern times.
