Mars is probably my favorite manga-to-drama adaptation. So good. I pushed through 10 episodes of Peach Girl, due to probably dementia (actually because I was at early drama-watching stage and reluctant to give up). You saved yourself hours of agony.
all your reasons are correct: 26/27 (in western years), army-bound, and most likely not interested. It would have been great if they had done it four or five years ago!
Yes. He would seriously be perfect but...alas. I guess I can console myself with Bali only that would make me bawl worse. I will instead watch Piano, which apparently has plenty of angst for him, but an OTP and a happy ending (according to alaxandral), in addition to the bonus of having Go Soo.
Yeah, every single one of them is too old. I don't mind the age difference really (I am used to American shows with 30 year old playing teens) but I'd be surprised if they cast it this way and would prefer it be set in college if they do cast 'names.' YEH is 23, yeah. She is about the only one I could see as Makino, age-wise and even then if Makino was in college.
College was pushing it but I can deal with it, but yes, workplace? No way.
