She definitely had a lag time to catch her footing, but by the end of the series, well, I was all sniffley in the last couple episodes. Her growth, and school-girl ike crush on the Doctor had me looking at him in new eyes. By the time I hit Blood Family, I was completely head over heels about *both* of them.
