Loved Salman, loved Akki (dude, especially loved Akki - I remember reading a promotional interview for JEM where he said "Me and Salman will make people cry in JEM" and I remember thinking "Okay, Akki, whatever.. You're a goofy man who says silly things, I love you for it, it's okay." so when the scene where he gives Preity the letters made me cry I was surprised and amazed - he was right!! Him & Salman really did make people cry with this movie and it was amazing).

Sorry, sidetracked. So much self-referential, parody-like humor. I've always loved all that stuff. Salman is such a great guy for not taking himself seriously. You're so right about the emotionalness just creeping up to you. One minute you're laughing and enjoying it all and eventually you're crying with the characters and it totally surprises you - when did this happen? It just did.

I don't think the film is perfect but it has so much goodness; first half especially, and the scenes where it ties up in the end. I think I'll re-watch it today or tomorrow, because it's truly that good and cherishable in many ways. Also? I want to give Champu a hug.
