dangermousie: (Capital Scandal: excuse me)

Apparently I have an antifan!

I am her unspoken nemesis and everything. Sample Fun. Another bit of fun (now with bonus incorrect facts). Oh, And this, of course.

I have posters I don't like and I solve the problem by not reading them. Clearly too complicated a concept to master. Also, I have no idea if tumblr has an equivalent of flocking your posts, but if it does, it might be smart to do so next time, antifangirl, huh?

Also, it is nice to know that someone there thinks of me a lot even if it is to say things like this is the person who thinks myung-wol the spy is the best rom-com in the last five years or some shit
she loves hot gimmick
she writes rape culture apologia
she hates beta males
she thinks comedy is inherently less meaningful than tragedy
she thinks the drama 'a love to kill' is as profound and resonating as 'classic russian literature'
DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHY WE ARE AT SUCH ODDS
she is my unspoken nemesis
i have never talked to her and yet i know that one day we will destroy each other in pitched battle

I never even thought anyone much outside of flist read me (I am no Dramabeans or Koala) but to see so much time spent on disliking me and my opinions makes me feel like a K-celebrity now. Off to put on my sunglasses and hideously-patterned prints...

Antifan, if you are reading this, do come and chat...my ego needs stroking. Also, capitalization is your friend. Unless you are e.e. cummings, in which case, welcome back from the grave!

Oh, and in the unlikely event you read Russian, this is my final opinion on the topic: тебе психиатра нужно, лапа!

I am not locking this deliberately.

aaa, that was a bit higher than i was expecting. danke~

I lol'd when I was reading it tbh. The energy it would take to have so much hate kinda boggles the mind.

Also, hullo. I've been stalking your lj for some months now ^^.

lol

Congrats, you have your first hater! :/

This person has too much time on her hands. Also, I loved Hot Gimmick, even though it's normally not something I'm into. I loved main male lead (even though I don't normally like that kind of tortured male), and I'm also liking Honey Hunt even though it stopped. ._.

[identity profile] december-clouds.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 12:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Also, pardon my ignorance, but what made her say you like rape? Would love to read her non-sense posting but I need to catch up on Protect the Boss.

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 01:47 pm (UTC)(link)
My take on Myung Wol, apparently.

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 01:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, seriously, HG is not a healthy relationship and not one I would want (seriously, it was sort of a dom-sub fantasy) but I was entertained.

Hi! :)

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 01:56 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL, everyone needs a hobby and I guess I am hers :P

I sort of see what she's trying to get at, although I know nothing about the kdramas in question so maybe I'm not qualified to weigh in. And yes, she's going about this the wrong way but I dunno, she's friends with my friend [livejournal.com profile] astroprojection who agrees with her, and I’ve never disagreed with astro's values/beliefs and I kind of disagree on your definition of rape (and the legal one too, because it’s not like the kyriarchy doesn’t affect legislation), so... *shrugs*

We've been friends for a long time online, so I'm fine with agreeing to disagree. :)

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 05:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I am sorry, any time I hear the word kyriarchy, I check out. I am not a radical feminist nor ever claimed to be one (I am not even a liberal), so that is no surprise.

Maybe antifangirl is really a fangirl who would secretly like you to talk with them, heh. Let's so hope so for her sake, because otherwise it means that she thinks she could just write tons of posts about someone in a public site without that person actually stumbling upon and seeing her posts!

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 06:06 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL. I am just boggled by someone being all 'fandom = serious business.' Really? I am not even IN the fandom - I don't post on boards/comms in any event, but leaving that aside, it's a bit of fun in-between real life. Taking it seriously = bizarre.

[identity profile] ulkis.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 06:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I also do not get why this poster is complaining about your spoiler cuts, it's not your responsibility to spoiler cut for other people. That's one of my peeves, when people start demanding for other people's journals/blogs to be designed the way they want it.

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL, exactly. If someone doesn't like it, they can defriend me (in her case, she is not even on flist!). I make no secret I often put spoilers outside cuts. In fact, unless someone asks me not to, or I know a flist spoilerphobe is watching, chances of me cutting are slim. It is no surprise!

Keep up the good work

Mrs mousie just wanted to show my support. This hater of yours is so unbelievably addicted to you, its funny. Hahaha. I'm new to your site, been a silent lurker for some time at DB. We all have different tastes and sometimes when DB just doesn't share the same opinions i do, i simPly move on. Next blog please. I mean no one is forcing their opinions on others here, nor is forced to read opinionated blogs. Some people are really troubled. Sad. I am really thankful for the wide array of drama lover's blogs out there. It's interesting and fresh. Please keep up the good work! Why don't we all just agree to disagree right? :)

[identity profile] ladysaotome.livejournal.com 2011-08-30 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
Wow - that was hysterical & appalling all in one!
she writes rape culture apologia - has she not seen your opinion of pretty much every Thai drama you've attempted watching? lol

I am speechless regarding the other complaints. She might as well have said "we disagree on almost everything and therefore are sworn enemies" - my favorite post I saw on her tumblr was the outcry over a mutual affection for Protect The Boss. Too funny. The world has ended, I suppose.

Honestly, I love when you like a drama as much as I do. But I also love when you have a different opinion. It's diversity - what's the point of reading a blog if all it does is repeat back every thought I ever had? You have different tastes than I do a lot of the time, but it enriches my perspective. It's a good thing, not a bad one.

Maybe you can get a wee jacket with long white fur for it? I feel that white is the only colour for a true super villian's cat. Tradition must be respected, after all!

[identity profile] princesagr.livejournal.com 2011-08-30 11:03 am (UTC)(link)
LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL she must be.!!!!!!!!!!

[identity profile] princesagr.livejournal.com 2011-08-30 11:10 am (UTC)(link)
And another note I forgot to add.
While she, and many others, blame people who doesn't think it as a rape, none of them actually blame MW for her attempt to seduce KW some episodes back when she really did used force, while he did object to her .
So, only a man can rape - even if he doesn't use force and the girl does NOT object, - but a woman, can't?

hope you're not depressed because of this person. It's your blog and you have the right to have your opinion. She or he doesn't have the obligation to read you.You have all my support.
PS: A love to kill is not for me the best job of the writer but i also really liked a love to kill.

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-31 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I am not depressed - after that first 'interesting' perusal, I haven't been back there (unlike the lady in question, I have no problems staying away from somewhere I dislike). Just boggled.

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-31 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Seriously, so bizarre. Her fixation is even weirder since I am not in the 'fandom', whatever that means - I mean, I don't post on comms, blogs or boards. I only post on my private LJ.

Also, if she thinks I am not feminist enough, she should go to soompi East of Eden thread - her head will explode :P

[identity profile] dangermousie.livejournal.com 2011-08-31 10:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. The double standard is bad whichever way it cuts.

I think her problem with me is that I am not a radical feminist. That is fair enough - I am not. But I fail to see why she's so shocked - I've never claimed to be one. Nor is majority of the fandom - as far as I can tell, a large chunk of both drama-fans and readers of my LJ aren't even from North America so concerns of radical American feminism are irrelevant to them.
