As for pet peeves, I'm not sure if I have too many except the surprising virgin and the whole women = always inexperienced and man = always a ho thing.

I did read a lot of very sex-light romance novels when I was very young in high school (where "they kissed" was probably as far as it would go) and I got a kick out of it how in every single book the heroine broke her ankle so the hero would have to carry her somewhere. It just cracked me up that it always, always had to be an ankle.
