I have all the rest of my Thailand photos uploaded but I still need to resize them.

Meanwhile, ever since PB instituted the new bucketupload feature, it has gotten exponentially easier to upload my camera pics. And so I remembered I never finished my photos of Japan.

So here are the neon lights of Shinjuku, at night. This was one of my favorite evenings in Japan.

First, we have a picture or two of Hakone )

And from then on, it's back to Tokyo, and the orderly crowdedness of Shinjuku station.

Shinjuku Station )

And then it's night, and next morning we are heading to Kyoto, and we decide to go out and explore the neighborhood. And I fall even more madly in love with Tokyo than I have been before (for the record, Tokyo remains the favorite city I've been to, 27 countries and all).

And then, next morning, it's bye-bye Tokyo, at least for now, and off we are on a bullet train to Kyoto.

Here are (after a bit of an interval, I apologize), more of my pictures from Japan.

Nineteen pics here )

Next up (later today). Post full of pictures of FOOD as I go mad in a department store in Ginza.

Here are more photos of Japan. Imperial gardens and grounds in Tokyo plus a bit of the streetscape on our walk from there to Ginza.

Photos behinds cut )

To be continued...

If you want links to larger size photos in future batches, let me know.

As you might remember, Mr. Mousie and I went to Japan in September. I posted write-ups (click on 'japan' tag). I also posted a few photos here. But I also took almost 900 photographs, so I think from now on, now that I got them burned on a disc, I am going to do a daily 'photos of Japan' post until I end up posting all of them. (As well as posts on England, Chicago, Spain, Florida, whatever trips at some point)

Let's say 20 per day? (Slightly less so if there are personal pics in the batch I ul as I am not posting those without a lock). There are people and streets and monuments and food and clothes. Some of these photos are good (if I say so myself), some mediocre, but hey...why not?

Photos behind cut )

Also, should I shrink them so they'd be more compact or leave them this size for better detail?
