You know, your enthusiasm for this drama has made it exponentially better for me. Just your complete love for it makes me see things I probably wouldn't have otherwise. Like Choi Young's calm reaction to her return.

Initially I was disappointed that there wasn't a big reunion. That he wasn't surprised, that they didn't rush into each other's arms. But I love the idea that he had so much faith that she would return, that she would come back to him, that a splashy reunion wasn't necessary. It's the calm certainty of the moment that makes it incredibly profound and I wouldn't have thought that without you making that point.

And it's amazing because I don't think the passage of time would have stopped him from waiting. From going back, year after year after year, until he was old and gray, waiting for her to come back to him.

It's bittersweet because I still feel that there's so much more to see of them. I want to see them day to day, living their lives. I want to see them fight and makeup. I'm so happy that they got a happy ending but I'm totally selfish. I want more.
